I have just been watching a collection of Youtube videos on painting Warhammer miniatures from the user "buypainted". Looking at some of his work... which is absolutely amazing, I have decided that its time to buy an airbrush.
I have wanted to get one for soooo long. Just havent had the time or the $$ to invest in getting one and learning how to use it. Now that I am single and trying to advance my creative side, I think its time that I stop thinking about getting one and just buy one. Now I have to do some research and work out which airbrush to buy.
If anyone has any insight into airbrushing and brands etc. I would love to hear from you.
Thanks
I am a 30 year old, single bloke, who enjoys being creative. I may lack a bit of skill in a lot of things, but im getting better, This blog is going to "hopefully" chronicle the road from mediocre to exceptional... So feel free to add your critique. Be as brutally honest as you like. I dont mind. :)

Weekly Drawing #2
I thought I would make up for the late posting last week by posting this weeks drawing a day early.
This is something that has had many redraws done over the past 5 or 6 years. It was initially something that I put together as a tattoo design for myself back when I first joined the Air Force, but never got around to getting it done. I lost the original many moons ago and have been trying to recreate it since.
To be completely honest. Its not finished. I am going to ink it this week and post the completed work as next weeks drawing. I didnt want to rush the inking as I dont want to have to recreate it again because I messed up the inking.
Tell me what you think...

Weekly drawing #1
Sorry for the late post, have been quite busy. Here is the first of my weekly drawings. I am trying to improve my human anatomy skills and hands are the part of the body that I have the biggest problem drawing.
I would like to credit Mark Crilley for the inspiration and instruction on techniques for drawing hands. Its a bit rough but its not bad for a first attempt.
Now I have to go and write a job application... good times...

Spending too much time in the uncreative mindset
Good evening to all my readers.
I seem to spending a lot of time in the more serious, less creative mindset and have decided that i am going to start doing a drawing every week! so starting today... I will be posting a new drawing every 7 days... By next Tuesday I will have a new, completed drawing posted on here.
Feel free to critique as you feel. I appreciate the feedback. :) Here are a few other drawings that ive been doing lately to tide you over. :)

Been a rather uncreative week...
Well, this week has been a less than creative experience. I have been writing job applications and havent found much time to get any drawing or painting done. I did a little painting of my orcs and did some more on the spider. Here are the progress shots.
Apologies for the terrible photo quality. Im still using an old iphone as a camera.
These are just Works in Progress and will be much better once they are completed. hopefully by then i have a decent camera and will be able to upload decent photos.

Spent the day at 5000 Feet
I went flying today for the first time in about 6 months. I am trying to get my Private Pilots Licence. Its a very expensive process and I have been trying to get as much flying as I can afford. But its taking a lot longer than I first thought it would
Here are some photos of the adventure. I really think that I have found my calling. Its the only thing that I do that doesnt make my heart race with adrenalin and make me panic. I panic when I drive a car. But when I fly I feel free. I am able to make the decisions that I need to make without panicking. I love the feeling of being in control of an aircraft and I hope to be doing it more in the future.
